GIN from the hillside
GIN FROM THE HILLSIDE, called so by Žganjekuha Kržič in memory of Ivan from Vrhnika (Ivan Cankar, a renowned Slovenian writer), with emphasis on orange and cinnamon aroma. It is an increasingly popular drink among Slovenians; a summer drink, above all combined with tonic, for many a person the summer drink altogether. GIN is an alcohol beverage with higher alcohol content. Gin and tonic mix has been extremely popular in British colonies as early as in the 19th century, since it has already then been known that tonic protects against malaria due to its quinine content. GIN is even so popular drink, that it has its Gin world day. But it is very important not to mix an excellent GIN with inferior cheap tonics.
