Williams Christ is the most esteemed among brandies, it has a recognizable noble taste and is nicely aromatic. The Williams pear is a highly esteemed table pear. The fruits are nicely formed and very tasty. Williams pear originates in England, where it was discovered already in 1770 and got its name after the gardener Willams from London. Here it is available since the twenties of the 20th century.
